Ravensnest Fly Fishery has become one of Wales most premiere fishing venues. Run by fisherman for fishermen, Ravensnest Fly Fishery offers trout fishing in the beautiful welsh countryside with areas for catch and release or catch and kill. Ravensnest Fly Fishery is set in 7 acres of woodland, situated near Tintern in the Wye valley, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, part of the Angiddy river. The fishery consists of 3 fishing pools, open to the public for catch and release and for catch and kill day tickets. It is stocked once a week with Rainbow trout and Blue Trout. Tiger Trout are due to be stocked in the early summer. There are also plenty of beautiful wild Brown Trout with weights exceeding 4lb. All anglers are invited to help themselves to free tea and coffee from the urn situated in the Pump House. Other hot and cold drinks are available to purchase as well as ever increasing menu to help you refuel during your time at the Fishery. The newly renovated Pump House has a nice selection of fishing accessories for sale including; tackle, lines, flies and sundries, as well as an extensive range of fishing equipment for hire.
