The Candle Alchemist is a small, family-run candle and craft studio in rural Anglesey, about 3 miles from Newborough. They manufacture and sell all of their candles here, and they offer a range of Candlemaking Workshops for adults as well as Candle & Craft programmes for families and children. Adults and children over the age of eight can participate in ‘taster sessions,’ where they can manufacture a hand-dipped candle, or younger children can build a novelty candle using specially prepared modelling wax. Just call ahead to see if they have any openings.

They teach Candle Making and host Craft Workshops – Birthday Parties, Hen Parties, Baby Showers, Team Building, or just a get-together with a few friends are all welcome! Candle making and crafting are wonderful activities for a birthday celebration to get everyone engaged! Your party attendees will have a blast being creative in a group, and they’ll have their finished project to take home as a keepsake from the event.
