The Spaceguard Centre is a working observatory, and the main source of information about near Earth objects in the UK. The observatory is located on a remote, dark sky site ideal for astronomy, surrounded by the stunning Welsh Marches.

The Spaceguard Centre is the National Near Earth Objects Information Centre (NNEOIC). With Jonathan R. Tate as its Director, it is the only organisation in the UK dedicated to addressing the hazard of Near Earth Objects.
